Who has the Best Morning Show in the Huntsville Market?

I think "Big Mama" is Mojo's co-host. You know... the guy who likes to dress up as a woman on weeekends. :)

It's interesting to see how many people differ on what they like and I guess that's why there are so many shows to choose from. I know everyone has an opinion and here's my top three.

1. Dan and Dingo - I think these guys do a great job and are always able to make me laugh!

2. Mojo - he just comes across as a really nice guy that enjoys what he's doing. It blows me away that people don't see him as sincere...... especially with his bike drive.

3. Rick and Bubba - I think they are pretty funny but often get on a religous or hunting kick that can control a whole show.

I have to agree with hsvdr. Dan and Dingo have the best show in town!! I just hate when they go on vacation..... It RUINS my week!!!!

Nope, sorry speculators but I am not a guy who dresses as a woman on weekends and I have not worked in radio in many years. So you will have to take my opinions as a working mother, who listens to radio when I can.

I am not a Cumulus or Clear Channel fan, I surf the dial till I find what I like. The reason I like the Wolf is because of the mix of music, and I'm sorry if this offends but I can't stomach Dingo. I still have DRM as a programmed station too, but have noticed I don't stay there as often. When the older gentleman left, I thought DRM would really improve its morning show with maybe a younger perspective, maybe more pop culture...but they went another way with Dingo. The only show I refuse to tune in is the Fish show, other than that they all have aspects that I enjoy or I don't. I love the music as well as Madison and Erica at the River, but this was about the morning shows. I also like the retro lunch on ZYP, and loved when Ally was there. She was a joy to listen to.

About the morning show at ZYP, Mojo in particular, it isn't all about being a Christian and I don't think I ever said it was. He spoke to over a hundred youth at our church, and made an impact, yes that was Christian. I never heard him discuss it to try and get publicity, maybe he did, I dunno. I agree you don't have to be a Christian to do good things, BUT if you are a Christian you SHOULD do good things. The bike thing is a little weird to me too, the staying outside part of it. But I guarantee its not silly to the thousands of kids who have received those bikes over the years. I like to use events like that to help teach my kids about giving.

Yes, WildDJ I am all right wing and stuff. Did you get that by the hint that VNN is my favorite station right now?? ::) I also think as a parent (especially of younger children) we have the responsibility of monitoring what they hear and see. Meaning my kids will not listen to Fish, neither will I and I am far from being a child. Meaning I also monitor what they watch on TV and the internet.

Again, it all boils down to my mood that day. I will also say that I have started listening on line to a station in New Hampshire! I thought it was the Wolf in Huntsville, but its NH. Not sure what the web address is for the HSV Wolf, but the NH plays great music too!!

Have a lovely day and tune in Sean Hannity this afternoon... ;D
