Who has the longest tenure in Atlanta radio now?

Hugh Jarrett (Big Hugh Baby) came to Atlanta radio (WPLO, WFOM, WSB) from WLAC/Nashville in the mid-SIXTIES and can now be heard Sunday mornings on WWEV/91.5.

HOWEVER, I don't think his radio career here was continuous (a couple of movies, I think), but for one who was on the air in Atlanta earliest, and on the air now, Big Hugh has gotta be da man.

In terms of long-term stability among all on-air personalities at a single station, WSB-AM & The Fish have to be among the leaders. At 750, I think Scott Slade, Clark Howard, & Boortz have all been in their current slots for over 10 years, with all of them on the air in various capacities in Atlanata for over 15 years. And The Fish has only been in existence for 6+ years, but Kevin & Taylor, Parks Stamper, & Dan Ratcliffe have all been in their exact same slots for the entire 6+ year run. That's amazing - Must be a pretty good place to work!

Salem has to be one of the cheapest companies and has to be one of the worst to work for ... dont let that fool you.. they are no clear channel but they are not angels....

Salem may be very cheap, or at least budget-conscious, in many ways, and may not be the best place to work for many staffers. But for so much of their on-air talent to have been there for so long says that it must not be that bad a place to work (at least for the on-air people). Otherwise, you'd figure that several of them would've bolted long ago. I mean 6+ years in the same on-air slots is an eternity for most people in the biz. There are only a handful of people in Atlanta who can claim that kind of longevity at their current station.

From the WSAI website:

"For those of you who don't know, Neal Boortz (that's me) has been a Talk Show Host (What Bill Clinton would refer to as a "Preacher of Hate") since in Atlanta 1969. Since early 1999 my show has been syndicated on radio stations from Maine to California and from Alaska to Florida. Right now I am closing in on four million listeners nationwide."

I don't believe Clark has been in his current slot for that long. He was afternoon drive until Sean Hannity came to WSB. I am guessing maybe 5 or 6 years now?
