Who in the Raleigh/Durham market has the best weather coverage?

I worked with Spooner at WGNI (Wilmington) in the 1960s. Last I heard he was retired and living near Atlanta.

Wouldn't mind seeing the "Ole Fella" I saw some pictures from the KIX Reunion, saw Walker and him in them!

I'll never forget Walker had to trade the weather wire to get Spooner, That was Wood's conditions..

Meanwhile, at WNCN-17......never mind. They could honestly go to syndicated programming and drop the news and nobody would notice. :D

my dad was MCO at WNCN when they first started their newscasts...some 12-13 years ago.........they had so much ambition back then....

"You have been Spoonerized" - I have the CD of Russ' album of bits from WMAK. Was listening to it this weekend while visiting a mutual friend in Wilmington. Made a digital copy of the vinyl for Russ to take to the reunion several years ago.
