top oldies stations
Well Johnny, that's not as easy as it sounds. In individual markets, rank is everything. And, the NY, LA, Chicago, SF & Philly markets win by default because of their huge cumes. You can't compare AQH shares but they're all relative to their individual markets (i.e.: a 6 share isn't much in Fargo
but in New York it's probably top 3 almost every book).
Frankly, there probably isn't any single "#1 Oldies station in America"- there are a group that are top performers, another much larger group that are good
performers and the rest are either up & down or ranked consistenly low.
