Who misses the A to Z countdown on 98.1 WOGL?

Every Memorial Day weekend, I loved turning on 98.1 because of their crazy countdown that included Christmas music on Memorial Day weekend. Then I did it because hearing Christmas songs in May drove people insane. Now I remember that nostalgia and miss it.

Video killed the radio star…..

WDRC-FM in Hartford used to do an A to Z starting right after Christmas and running into the new year. Thousands of songs, including Christmas titles and songs that had been dropped from regular rotation years before. At its most extreme, it lasted almost nine days! Of course, when Buckley Broadcasting sold it to Connoisseur, the A to Z (and most of the songs played) was history.

NJ 101.5 is doing an A to Z weekend of their library starting tonight at 7PM. Heard them mention it on air. Can't find anything on the website about it, but Townsquare websites are just article factories from their talent anyway.
