I figure this will be an easy question for all our distinguished readers out there. I've been racking my brain, and for the life of me can't remember....

> KEWS "All News 94.9"

As many calls/formats the 94.9 frequency has had over the years, it's probably understandable that they all become on big blur.

KEWS also known as the KRLD FLOCK!-- people like Pete Gardner, Roger Emerick, Brian Burns, Russell Scott just to name a few were all a part of that station-- and when it was "blown up" a lot of people were stuck.. though Roger went back to KRLD and Brian and others were at Shadow for a short time-- and Pete-- well PETE went to Bowie, Texas to live as a country gent--

Actually Pete went to Ariz. for awhile. He worked at at station in Phoenix, and raised horses. He came back to DFW and is raising horses.

Yes, Pete Gardner was news director for MetroSource, Metro's news service in Phoenix in '98, after KEWS. He was my boss before he returned to Dallas. Great experience working with him.
