Who was the greatest DJ of the 60s?

Born and raised in Central PA in the 60's, my first favorite was Dick Biondi
at WKBW Buffalo. Followed him and Art Roberts west to WLS Chicago.
Mid 60'S, agree all the WABC airstaff and WKBW, Joey Reynolds and Danny
Nevareth, Sandy Beach, Jack Armstrong and Jack Berns. Boston's WBZ, Bruce Bradley, Jeff Kaye. Also Philadelphia's WFIL and WIBG, York's WSBA and sister WARM Scranton. Joined the USAF in 1968, moved south to Florida, best
radio on Gulf Coast was New Orleans WTIX Bob Walker and Jacksonville's
WAPE Greaseman! Most unusual..KAAY Bleaker Street with Clyde Clifford.
Miss the 60's/70's radio personalities prior to corporate takeovers.

Q

Dick Biondi is totally one of my favorites. However, I know many of you never listened to WPTR (the blowtorch station of the great northeast) because of its directional signal... But, c'mon (dudes)... For those of you whose listened to Boom Boom Brannigan, doesn't he rank in there somewhere close to the top? If he hadn't chosen to remain in the Albany area due to his admirable deference to the needs of his family he could very successfully have been a national figure. Now you all know where my bias is!
