Career suicide is right. Even if they are dead it's still akin to dumping on your old boss or company at a job interview. They figure if you do it to an old employer you'll do it to them at some point. Not a good idea to put yourself in that position even if you think your identity is unknown. I used to hire people and if anyone I interviewed went down that road I didn't want them.
 
That's what's wrong with the industry. Bullies get away with bad behavior because too many people are" sheeple."
One of my worst was Al Coholic and the other, S. T. Dee, made Bill Clinton look like a eunuch.

With that said, I agree that it's probably not a good idea to name the names of your former PD, OD, GM, Owner, etc etc.

Ummm... Ahhh.... I will show great restraint. I am owner so I don't work for anyone. Mama always said if you can't say something nice, don't say nothin. In a past life I have worked for many great people (I owe my career to them). But two come to mind that were real winners :)

Restraint only let's these low lifes get away with it. There are too many scumbags in this profession. Not a new thought but the reason there are so many scumbags in executive positions in broadcasting is that they come out of the sales department where the moral factor is generally as low as you can get. Bed whomever or whatever you can to make the sales and screw the rest. Too many of these "time salesman" reach management level and become the rotten fish that give the industry a bad name. Sometimes they remind me of pedophile priest who instead of being throw out of the priesthood or sent to jail just move not to some other parish but to some other station to find new victims. I could name a few and maybe I just did.

Oh, and I don't support pirates. I also don't obsess over them like you do. I also have a life outside of this message board. I also work in the industry. Keep trying though.
 
I worked for a person that thought they were the greatest thing to ever happen to radio, I had to endure hours of stories about their "career" in radio and TV, which was pretty much being a board op on shifts where they would not have to interact with other people.

And then there was their life outside of radio that was equally pathetic.

But somehow they got hired and given a title... if they had to work in a conventional radio station where sales, ratings, and other measurable metrics counted, they would be out the door in seconds, but they keep a chair warm and the software running while 99% of the programming comes in from outside sources.

In my opinion they couldn't get a job at Radio Shack if they ever lost their "GM" position.
