WHO'S GOT THE BEST/LONGEST REACHING FM SIGNAL IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY?

There seems to be quite a few that cover an amazing amount of real estate.

KMJ-FM out of Fresno....From the Grapevine to just south of Stockton....That's about 300 miles!

Other great Valley signals.....KABX/97.5, KHLX/93.1, KSKS/93.7, KHOP/95.1

I know I'm missing a bunch?

#1 Eshom Point stations at 5,280 ft above sealevel elevation 17KW ERP, calutated from HAAT of 850 ft, KFSO 92.9, KSJV 91.5,KBOS 94.9, KSEQ 97.1,KSOF 98.9, KFRR 104.1, KRDA 107.5. Some can be heard on the Grapevine near Valensia. to Turlock depending on Co-channels.

#2 Meadow Lakes at 4700 ft above sealevel elevation KVPR 89.3, KMGV 97.9, KLBN 101.9 and already mentioned Grandfathered signal 68K ERP KSKS 93.7 and KMJ-FM. Stockton To near the Grapevine.

#3 Planada above ( somewhere near Mariposa) 4360 Ft above sealevel KUBB 96.3 and KHTN 104.7. Stockton to Tulare.

#4 Blueridge Mt 5700 Feet Sealevel KJUG 106.7 ,Grapevine to Chowchilla

#5 107.3 KLVS( K-love) on Mt. Diablo has a good reach covering Parts of the Bay Area, and North of Sacramento to South of Turlock.

In Stockton, the only Fresno FM station that I can get is KRZR-103.7. The only Merced stations that I can receive are KUBB-96.3, KAMB-101.5 & KHTN-104.7. I do receive lots of Bay Area FM Radio Stations as well as a couple of ones from Reno, NV.

For many years, I used to get 93.7 when they were AC KFYE but ever since a Roseville station moved from 93.5 to 93.7 (then KRXQ, now KQJK) in 1988, I can't get the Fresno station though to tell the truth, I prefer "Jack-FM" to "Kiss Country".

I would have to say 93.7 Kiss Country. Stockton to the Grapevine.

104.1 The Hawk goes from Dublin (along the 580 in the east Bay) in the west, to high up in the Sierras on Hwy 88 to the east. In the north, Woodland down as far south as Merced.

95.5 KLOS....All of southern California to Barstow on 58 to the east and Tulare in the north.

105.7 KOZZ Reno.... The top of the Altamont down south along the I-5 near Patterson. Thru Sacramento in the north.

96.3 KUBB is pretty strong too.......Lodi to Tulare.

That is what I have experienced driving up and down our valley.

I agree on that one, when 105.9 KFJK JACK FM from Fresno switched to KMJ-FM, I started steaming 93.7 KQJK.

The site I mentioned in a earlier post for KUBB 96.3, KHTN 104.7, KAMB 100.5 and KCIV 99.9 is Mt. Bullion.
