LA Guy inspired me to write this
Dear Liggins and Hughes
It has become obvious that your orginization is in need of change and one such way change can begin is with your stepping down from your posts.
Let's start with decisions. Your company overpaid for several assests including Los Angeles and in LA's case got a weak frequency to boot.
Then you proceeded to fire virtually all of the successful airstaff and instituted airstaff that was not successful or in the case of one individual, Steve Harvey, pissed off 40% of a latino base that was THE reason behind your success.
Then your company went out and acquired a Urban AC morning show that had never worked in LA and tried to force the show on Los Angeles residents, LA residents responded and sent KKBT to historical lows.
In addition, your company wastes it's resources on a Cable Network and a Gospel Harpist neither of whom has seen significant success.
And further more, in other markets, your stations play 2nd fiddle to other Urbans owned by Clear Channel, Entercom and CBS
And last but not least, you are trying to work a Dallas R&B station in Los Angeles(KRBV). Did anyone ever tell you Los Angeles was in CA, not TX?. Oh that's alright, Liberman thinks we're in Mexico, so I guess if someone wants to put us in TX, that's their thing.
Regardless, it is time for new leadership(and a sale of KRBV). We posters at Radio-Info demand you resign.
