Why does the audio quality of W236BD in Michigan not as good as WIMS?

W236BD is the translator of WIMS which used to be a translator of WFRN in Elkhart but for some reason the audio quality isn't as good. I have no idea why.

edit: Michigan City is supposed to be in the title not Michigan
