Why is Jim Crawford reading commercials for the Cumulus Radio Stations?

Did the Erwin stations go out of business or something? I've been out of the area and see their websites are down, and then heard his voice on spots on WXSM and WJCW.
 
Apparently Jim Crawford has left or was fired from the Erwin stations and is now employed by Cumulas Tri/Cities.
