Why was Everybody on this board yelling about Disney/ABC selling their TV O&O's?

It turned out that Disney and Univision had a joint venture to form the Fusion Network to replace ABC News Now.
This is as strange as last year when Rich Lieberman of 415 media said that CBS was going to sell CBS Radio to Cumulus but that turned out that CBS had formed a joint venture with Cumulus to form the CBS Radio Sports. Also the other part was that 2016-2017 when CBS Radio News Contract will be expired with Westwood One former Dial Global Radio. How many Dead end posts are we going to have here.

Replying to the headline in your posting - "everybody on the board" was "yelling" about Disney selling their O&O TV stations because the story was all over the media. See link below, for example. I doubt one story (the joint venture you mention) has any connection to the other story. You are aware, I'm sure, that corporations like people, can do two activities (or deals in this case) at the same approximate time, correct?

Also, corporations are similar to people in that plans often change. From what I understand, Mr. Lieberman (who I never read) is a font of misinformation. But that doesn't mean that he isn't sometimes correct, or that people don't react to what he writes in his blog, or whatever it is.
