WICA-TV/15, Ashtabula, Ohio, NOW an exhibit in The UHF Morgue.

Thanks to some many great people, the WICA-TV/15 exhibit is now on-line in the UHF Morgue. You can find it at "THE RadioDXer" @ http://www.geocities.com/radiojunkie1 or http://radiodxer.net . I am truly amazed at how many people showed such a strong interest about a station that signed-off over 40 years ago. But then again, I could see why! It was real homegrown TV, well before the days of Cable Access. If WICA-TV were to survive another 10 or so years later, it probably would have been still on the air today. But, we'll never know. All there is left today of WICA-TV is a long dormant antenna atop the WICA Radio tower. I would love to get a photo of that tower as it stands today. Enjoy!

Another fascinating slice of TV history -- you are to be commended for having one of the most interesting TV sites on the Net!

(BTW, are you aware that your site still works under its old Geocities "neighborhood" URL address -- i.e., Athens/Olympus, etc.? I bookmarked it that way a long time ago and have never changed it -- I get a "90's flashback" every time I see it!) ;)

Thank you for your kind words about the website. It's a lot of fun putting it all together. I'm amazed that my old Geocities "neighborhood" URL still works to this day. (And I love anything that's "retro" ;)!) Thanks again for your nice words about "The Morgue".
