WICC 600 now simulcasting on 95.9 FM

I'm surprised there's any demand for music on terrestrial radio these days with so much targeted streaming content available.

News/talk might be a better option but unfortunately WICC's lineup isn't very compelling. I applaud them for trying to keep it local but good local talent may not be easy to find.

WICC & 95.9 are the "Voice Of Connecticut" while Full Power Radio's WDRC/1360 (& FM102.9HD-3, 103.3FM) 610/104.5-WSNG & 1470/WMMW are the "Talk Of Connecticut" - no conflict of interest there!

Great hire!
Wonder if it will be non-political talk? Considering Bridgette Quinn comes from WCBS and WINS, it might be news-oriented but not with a political leaning.

No. 1470 WBOM and a translator on 102.5 is R&B and has been for more than 2 years.
