Will any Providence radio station have a Fulltime on air job opening in 2010? Who was the last new On-Air person to get hired in Providence?

I think the last full timer hired in the market would have to have been at Cat Country. Probably Tim Leary for mornings and that's well over a year ago. Any other shifts that were filled were PDs saddled with an airshift at Citadel. Barring any morning show changes I would rule out any full time hiring anywhere unless you count this poster who says he's being transferred to Providence to do a talk show at some unnamed station.

NO, Not with what is exspected at Citadel and someone awhile back made a notion that a New York show is rumoured to pop up on WPRO. I'm taking that one with a grain of salt.

If you count Delilah or something new nights on Lite 105 than yea.Lite will take a BIG HIT first.

Very unlikely. Don't forget Providence is a Clear Channel and Citadel market for the most part. A potential Clear Channel bankruptcy could happen in 2010, even AFTER they get the money from CC Outdoor. It's not looking good for radio companies beginning with the letter "C" (that includes Cumulus).
