Will Charlotte Get A Sports Radio FM?

Rush treats people who disagree with him like morons for the sake of entertainment. He plays the part of an egomaniac, but I doubt he's really that way in real life.
He certainly wasn't on "Family Guy". He treated Brian with respect when they met in person. Brian, a liberal, even came over to Rush's way of thinking. I believe Brian came to his senses by episode's end.

Isn't "Family Guy" a cartoon? A parody of real life?

Brian's behavior would have been, but Rush sounded very convincing. I don't think they were parodying him at all.

Several writers at the Observer are popular enough to perhaps have a show (Sorensen, Utter the NASCAR guy, Ron Green)
Dad still writes, so I assume you mean Junior.
If Dad still writes, then that's a leg up on having a radio show.
I'd be amazed if Dad could get a radio show with the emphasis on youth. Maybe the station that plays Glenn Miller would take him; they do some sports talk.

Re: 105.3 - is there any chance Davidson will let go of it any time soon? For that signal, it's not doing anything in the ratings. 106.1 does just as well, and look at their signal. I bet it's worth a ton of $$$.

Maybe not, but they get numbers in the Greensboro market. Even with all the competitors.

Ratings don't matter when you're selling blocks of airtime to people who want to do whatever they want.

I forget they're brokered. You're right.

One night I was turning from one station to another and the Tar Heels were on. In English. A few minutes later, with the game over, I did confirm it was still a Spanish station otherwise. I guess this means when the Blue Devils are on WIST, that's also English, even thugh I've heard the Panthers on that station in Spanish.
