Will CHR radio play R. Kelly "Trapped In The Closet" ?

Even though there's like 4 parts to this song, to me it sounds like one of the best releases of the year. Excellent topic, great voice, great production, and even some humor and drama thrown in.

That's big no here too. To me, the five-part song just wants us broadcaster's money. I listened to an Urban AC station today and they played all four parts at the top of 3:00 and 4:00.<P ID="signature">______________

I think no. I mean I'm with Kiss 9 8 5, #1 For The Internet's Hit Music and I am already rhythmic enough but R. Kelly is straight urban no matter what. Unless it somehow goes for adds on the CHR/Pop stations then I will NEVER EVER play it. But, I'm sure some little stupid station out there plays it to be a CHR station but my vote is a no.<P ID="signature">______________

My opinion is a resounding no. I listened to the first part when AOL premiered it like over 2 months ago. I wasn't impressed. Another thing that kinda hinders it from being on CHR is I think it's in 5 parts. I mean, that's too long. People's attention spans aren't that long. IMO, I don't think that Urban/Hip Hop will pick up on it big.

Also, there has been other songs this year, bigger than this one. I usually agree with you CHRles, not this time tho.
