Will WBZ-TV 4 Play Down The Ted Johnson Story Because of The Pats Connection?

The Boston Globe's Jackie McMullen ran a devastating story about retired Patriots player Ted Johnson in today's paper.

It paints a picture of Bill Belichick as a [EDIT] who caused Ted Johnson to suffer another concussion in practice immediately after Johnson came back from another concussion a week or so before.
Belichick changed the color of Johnson's practice Tee Shirt from "Red" which was a caution flag to other players that the player was recovering from a serious injury to "Blue" which said ' kill '
Wonder if CBS/WBZ 4 will cover this story in depth because they are the Patriots broadcast outlet.

[EDIT-offensive]

No wonder Belichick's wife dumped him. He appears to be a man without a conscience whose only allegence is to the game an to hell with humanity.

Glad Belichick went down to defeat this year.

Le'ts see if Channel 4 takes a pass on this story....

It's nice to see somebody else in New Enlgand who hates the Patriots! That's too bad that this player has to go through situations like that. Being the home market CBS affiliate, I bet they try to brush this one under the table.

you post the most inflamatory stuff out here and somehow you get away with it...
johnson hasn't been working for ch.4/tv38 since 2005 season so he's not on a payroll
there so there's no issue with protecting an employee. when johnson and his estranged wife had the fight outside of their weston house, ch.4 covered it at length.

get your facts straight. also belichick dumped his wife after carrying on an affair with a former giants co-worker for years. the bitter divorce battle has been discussed on ch.4's sports final a number of time despite station's connection to the patriots.

Its all bread and circus. The Roman Empire pulled this off for a few centuries but eventually they fell to their own corruption. Professional football is just today's gladiator sport. So, Ted Johnson suffers from early Alzheimer's disease because of his Patriot induced head injuries while the NFL looked the other way and fattened its bank accounts.

Belichick is just another amoral cog in this process. Bill Parcell wasn't much better. His wife dumped him too.

Noticed tonight that Ch. had Mallica Marshall. MD, on talking about this type of injury but only in general terms. Bob Kraft is supposed to make a comment at 6 ...if his wife will let him since it is her bank account that payrolls the Patriots.

I hear the theme of I Claudius in the background....
