wip and wpen should rebrand as eagles talk not general sports talk

It seems any time I put either WIP or WPEN on, everyone is talking Eagles, no matter what time of the year it is...No baseball, basketball or hockey talk, as well as the Flyers did this year. Is this city so into football and the Eagles every other sport does not matter. They should through local host, Professional Wrestling talk in as well...so I don't have to listen to busted open on Sirius/XM, but its non stop Eagles it really gets Monotonous at times.

Often, yes. But listen more, they certainly cover the Phils and Flyers...and no doubt the Sixers will have their day as the draft approaches and the new regime takes shape.

Pro wrestling talk? Um, huh?
They do what they do because it sells. Pro wrestling talk is about as likely as a a daily show about General Hospital.

94.1 and 97.5 always do this. It is what the majority of fans care and talk about. I do think 94.1 should be "Eagles Radio 94.1"

If you want a more national view, try AM 1290 WWTX [Fox Sports Radio] also can be heard on line via I Heart Radio, or 610 WTEL [ESPN Radio].

I love sports but don't want to hear about the Eagles in the middle of summer. You might as well be talking about opera. Bring on Phillies talk.

Phillies talk consists mostly of the following...

1. The state of the pitchers currently in rotation in the bullpen. (That's about a 5-10 minute discussion tops.)
2. Formerly ace hitters striking out at bat. (If this topic happens to extend beyond five boring minutes, I'm onto the next preset.)
3. Managerial staff shifts. (Behind the scenes conversation which I find to be extremely tedious at best)

The best banter for Phillies comes during in-game play-by-play which is probably enough for me...
