There is much more to the incompetence Century (Cable) Communication was as a radio owner. I really need to write a book, it would be entertaining.

Is that Century's equipment up on the hill next to the old 105.1 tower?

Possibly, depends on the equipment.

Looks like a small CATV headend. Two or three dishes, small tower with yagi antennas pointed to the Knobs.

I live in crescent hill and now with the 93.1 upgraded signal i get them well whereas before it was hit or miss but with the upgraded signal at 105.1 i can't get them any better. The only time i can is way down I-65 south in sheperdsville. Did the peeps realize what they were doing when they upgraded 105.1???

Not to compare reception in a vehicle to reception in a building; but FWIW, I was able to listen to 105.1 reliably into S. Ind. to about the Scott county border. It's a little better out here in Buckner; but not really listenable. OTOH, 93.1 has become very listenable here in Buckner since the upgrade. I can receive both on my home system; though 93.1 is still tops out here.

The only Louisville stations I get here Reliably are WZKF 98.9 and 100.5 Louie FM,,,, Sometimes Lite 106.9 and 99.7 WDJX make a quick visit when Tropo is strong enough, ive also picked up both Classic Rockers 95.7 QMF and also 107.7 SFR I have logged both stations, but they rarely make Tropo this far North. I used to get 97.5 WAMZ here really reliable, until K-love stuck a dang relay on the air near here on 97.5. I am 100 miles North of Louisville and have powerful local Indianapolis stations that make DXing Louisville very difficult. Although DXing Louisville stations is pretty hard here, its not unheard of for me to DX even the Lexington stations, mainly 98.1 and 92.9, but one time 104.5 THE KAT was blocking out the local 50kw oldies station during a powerful thunderstorm in the late 90s, during this storm I also DXED Quicksie 98.3 for the first and last time here.

Hey HOT P or Craven or anyone lol, do you think The Fox will start advertising there new and improved signal?

The only mention we're doing regarding the signal upgrade is tongue in cheek sweepers. Nothing "official."

That's the "Cat." Y'all are lucky you live in KY - I hope to go there soon!

At this time of year, it's hard to tell what's normal and what's enhanced groundwave, but I "think" that 93.1 from greater Louisville is messing with WIBC a little farther north than it did in the past. I heard traces of it in Seymour this morning.
