I just looked up online that according to Fox Radio website that show that WJGK's "The Fox" is now on 103.1 only, you will no longer being carried on 97.3 FM. It's now being called "103.1 WJGK" instead of "97.3/103.1/107.7". These frequencies are a waste of time, but you can't relay these three frequencies, but the problem with the 97.3 repeater is that it carried 250 watts instead of 10. That is way too much and it gets covered by Cumulus "The Wolf", that is a waste. So Sunrise decided to pull the plug on these two frequencies as well as WGNY's HD3 channel. I hope Poughkeepsie is losing WJGK's repeater at 97.3, but "The Wolf" which is also at 94.3 has a terrific signal when you reach Newburgh and Beacon when it's on 94.3. "The Fox" is now on 103.1 for now. What's going to happen next? Maybe "Fox Oldies" should flip to a sports format to bring some of the "Fox Oldies" listeners to go to WBPM for its "Biggest Hits" format? I don't see any of the "Fox Oldies" station should flip to sports on 98.9 anytime soon.
