WJSJ 105.3 Fernandina Beach, FL Is Stunting with Christmas Music

I was just scanning through the radio dial in Jacksonville and noticed that WJSJ, which had a Spanish Tropical Format, was stunting with Christmas music with a theme entitled "Christmas in the Summertime". I want to know what format hole would be successful on 105.3, which is a Class A stick located in the Oceanway area in North Jacksonville but has a limited signal south of Duval County. This station is the last one remaining of the former Tama Broadcasting cluster that hasn't been sold. (The other stations that were part of the Tama cluster have been sold off to various companies.) The coverage map for WJSJ from Radio Locator (http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=WJSJ&service=FM&status=L&hours=U)

There's no web page or stream. That is sad. Maybe there's not a strong enough market in Jacksonville for tropical music.

Yuck anyways.

My family remembers WJSJ and WSJF 105.3 and 105.5 when they aired Jones Radio Smooth Jazz. Great sounding station, plus we have family there, so it was close to us. Like I said on another forum here somewhere, I don't see why a city like Jacksonville, in an area like that, smooth/contemporary jazz couldn't work there again.
