WKOE-Bass River Township/Toms River? or WKOE-Bass River Township/Atlantic City?

The new WKOE/106.5 will put EXACTLY the same signal into BOTH Atlantic City AND Toms River.

Anyone have any idea which market they'll target?

Without stating the obvious... We need to see what format ends up here. Some kind of new format has to pop up here. Press is NOT going to leave the Breeze on 106.5 & 99.7, WAY too much overlap, even for them. I think a 106.3/106.5 simulcast makes the most sense, and 98.5 & 107.1 simulcast. That leaves 99.7 to be a new format, or spun off to raise a little extra cash. Any takers on that plan?
______________

I agree on putting G on both 106.3/106.5 and call it "G106-3&5"......I would keep The Breeze on 107.1/99.7 and make 98.5 the stand alone b/c it has a much better signal then 99.7.

While on this subject did anyone else notice that 106.3 has been taken off www.breezeradio.com....I don't know when they removed it but I think has been gone for a few weeks now.
______________

For a few weeks now, The Breeze has been ID'ing as "WWZY-Long Branch, WBHX-Tuckerton-Beach Haven, and WKOE-Bass River-Atlantic City". I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned on this board until now.

There's a thread about it back about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

As of right now (29 Jan 2006), WKOE is still licensed to Ocean City.

Their application for the move has been accepted by the FCC and will most likely result in a construction pemit, at which point they will become licensed to Bass River Township.

As far as I know, use of the new COL is a bit premature.
______________

I apologize, I actually missed that thread.

However, I guess my response was stil appropriate since I was responding to someone who was asking about why 106.3 was removed from The Breeze website.
