WLOW/Savannah Now Airing "The John Tesh Radio Show"

107.9 The Coast (WLOW-FM) airs the show Monday-Friday from 9AM-2PM and Saturdays from 2PM-7PM. Obviously Triad's attempting to go after the people who listen to Delilah on Clear Channel's 98.7 The River (WYKZ) but I don't see 107.9 The Coast overtaking the AC crowd anytime soon.

Having had a hand at talking John in to doing the daily show... I finally had a chance to listen to it this past week. I liked it. But I may be a bit bias of course. I've also PD'd a station that carried Delilah. I'd say his Teshness is a great alternative to the Queen of Sappy Love songs. It's a great development for listeners in the market as it gives them a choice. Besides, Tesh is airing in the mid-days on the coast and Delilah is at night on CC's station, So we won't get to see a head to head battle. Now THAT would be interesting. By the way, I found myself really digging the music on the coast. That's a great station. My only suggestion would be to try a little more local info and interaction.
Other than that I have only to add that the She Crab Soup at the Crazy crab is divine and Bernie’s on River Street has the best boiled shrimp & crawfish I've enjoyed in YEARS and I'm from the Mississippi Gulf Coast! HA! :D

Even though the format is not my cup of tea, I'd much rather listen to Tesh than Deliliah.
