WLS Teenage Guest Disk Jockeys Who Became Well Known in Broadcasting

I can only think of two. Couldn't find a list online.

Wally Kennedy, now a Talk/News Show Host in Philadelphia.

Pat Lopeman/Pat Martin, Station Manager and Owner, mainly in SE Wisconsin and Western Michigan.

I guess that the reason may be that most outgrew their fascination with radio or were steered into something more likely to provide a lifetime of employment. Many parents were dismayed with their career choice, and only in late life did their fathers realize and concede that their sons were actually extremely successful. John Landecker and Rush Limbaugh come to mind.

Actually Sajak did work in radio for awhile before he moved to TV.

I would love to hear air checks of anyone doing their teenage guest disk jockey "gigs". There are probably a number of others who became well known in other endeavors. A good public speaking audition of sorts.
