WMAG-FM 99.5`s Rod Davis was a NO SHOW for Winston-Salem Christmas tree lighting

It wouldn't be the first time Rod failed to show up! He probably didn't do it intentionally...he's just always been a little ditzy.

Isn't it sad when the butt of a joke doesn't even realize that he is, indeed, the butt of a joke?
 
I can't find a number for the "downtown director", but evveryone I talked who was there did say they saw him but it is possible that it was a guy who looks like him who said he was him because that has happen to a guy I knew in another market up north and the guy went to bars and did bar games and stuff and said he was also Ben Jammin and he wasn't and the real guy who will remain name less was not even there. It is possible that this type of thing has unfolded in downtown WS, but I woud like the director's phone number. Also, does anyone have the nuber to WMAG? Again, as I understand it he or someone who looked like him was there in full effeck!!!! 8) 8) :eek: :mad: ;D :D ;) :)
 
Wow!!!! I`ll have some of what that last guy had that posted here. Sounds like he is feelin` pretty good-LOL!!!!!
 
Ben Jammin really took that guy to the woodshed though.
Or maybe it was a guy who looked like Ben Jammin beating a guy who looked like Ben Jammin.
Maybe they were doppelgangers.
Maybe that's also what happened to T.C.?
 
I don`t know who the hell Ben Jammin` is. However, I do know that Rod Davis was not at the Winston Christmas Tree Lighting Sayurday Night to be the emcee (as had been advertised and written on the programs).
 
Maybe he was probably there, and he was just enjoying watching people frantickly looking for him.
Maybe he got a perverted thrill from the apparent need you all had for his presence.
Does anyone even know what he looks like?
Maybe in the crowd's frantic distraction they failed to see what was right up under their nose.
Also the chilly weather may have frozen their synapses.

P.S. If you don't know Ben Jammin you need to work the phones harder and in the right places.

Hey goodtimes, why not contact every resident of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County and get them to boycott 99.5 WMAG and Rod Davis. You seem to have plenty of time on your hands and it would really show those WMAG people that you mean business. The nerve of Rod Davis not showing up leaving you and those thousands of people in the dark on a cold snowy night. How long did you wait on Rod Davis before someone gave you permission to go home? Maybe you guys should have gone over to the new baseball park and watched the Warthogs play.
 
Well, I thing GTGO should alert the press and maybe listeners and residents will be mad enough to change the station to Oldies. Somehow I think that's the ultimate goal of GTGO anyhow.

Assuming everything you've posted about Rod Davis is true. He didn't show up, thousands of people were hacked off, etc. What do you have against Rod Davis? You seem so obsessed and keep posting "He didn't Show up" "He didn't Show up" "He didn't Show up". What is your problem with Rod Davis? There is medication to treat your condition, just ask the nurse when she comes back into your room to check on you. I'm sure a place as large as Butner can help you with your problem.

PLEASE!!!!!! I have NOTHING against Rod Davis! I assume that he is a great guy, However, he (or anybody else) in radio who misses important advertised engaments for his/her radio station, should be held accountable. WHY is the ball put in my court??? HE was the wrong that missed a gig. I am sure that others do too. They all should be held accountable (along with their radio station). SIMPLE!!!! Don`t make every thing so DAMN COMPLICATED!!!!!!!
