WMAG-FM 99.5`s Rod Davis was a NO SHOW for Winston-Salem Christmas tree lighting

::)What bugs me is who cares if Rod Davis was there or not?

I tell you, they should arrest Rod, and charge him with abandonment of audience. Or parking tickets.

(Sorry that my humor isn't up to the fourth-grade level displayed by some others here. :D)

Only problem with that is that no one can find him. No matter how frantically they are looking. LMAO

He must be bundled up like a mofo, irrecognizable.

I have just found out that the reason that Rod Davis failed to show up that night was because he was anducted by a U.F.O. It then flew him down to Kermit`s Hot Dog House and picked up a load of Foot Long Hot Dogs before heading out to Mars!

No, Quad. You are mistaken! The man in the Warthog`s hat is Dr. Paul Barer (host of "Shock Theater"), who has retuned to air soon on the new WGHP-TV 8 (8.2) retro channel!! He was there with Mickey Rooney to help promoye the new 8.2.

[Psst! Good Times!
If you call it "Antenna TV" instead of "WGHP's retro channel" it will almost seem as if you have some knowledge or awareness.]

Well, Quad actually both terms would apply. Yes, "Antenna TV" is the main feed. However, if I had not used the WGHP-TV (8.2) call letters, folks would have not known on what local station that I was referring to. Second of all, the new channel will be "Retro" themed in each and every way. Most of the programs from the 1950`s-1960`s. Third of all, if I had just said "Anntenna TV", most people most likely would have not known what I was talking about! So you see Quad, there IS a method to my madness! I decribed it so people would understand what I was talking about. So, Quad. RELAX!!! So many of your posts are SO uptight! Unwind and drink another cup of Egg Nog! Season`s Greetings!

At the risk of total sensory overload or going beyond three points into futility, I don't think anyone's having difficulty keeping up with your posts Good Times. I think it's the tying-it-all-together that people find difficult.
Anyhoo,
DYN-O-MITE!

Glad to see that you are a J.J. "Jimmy Walker" and "Good Times" fan. See you soon on TV Land and the new WGHP-TV 8 (8.2) Antenna TV Retro Channel.

??? I think the whole thread needs to be buried!

Hey, here's a good idea.

Get WMAG-FM 99.5's Rod Davis, to make up for the Winston-Salem Christmas tree lighting thing, to light up WGHP-TV 8 (8.2) Antenna TV Retro Channel.

Nah, he'll never show up, and we'll have to look for clips of him on YouTube for the following month. Nevermind.

I think that Rod Davis should host the Three Stooges Marathon on WGHP-TV 8 (8.2).

I can't find anywhere else on the internet where anyone else felt aggrieved. :D

(shhh...I'd never even heard of Rod Davis until this thread, and couildn't pick him out in either a lineup or a YouTube video of a Christmas tree lighting ceremony...shhhh!)

;)

Sorry, about that Ohip Media! Some posters on here go OVERBOARD getting into these posts and say some WILD things! Very entertaining, though! Just have to laugh at it-LOL!
