Thanks for coming to the board and adding your contribution regarding your grandfather. My memories of him are rather fuzzy, but one thing that does stand out is that he had a smooth, pleasant, easygoing,
"comfortable" style. I believe his tenure with WMAQ goes all the way back to the 50s and that he successfully transitioned through several formats. The mark of a true pro!
