I've heard that radio canard for years, and I've always found it kind of amusing. Taken literally it means a station will do better with a list of three songs than twenty. Or better with a list of one song than three. For even the most popular songs there's someone who doesn't like it. Your right, not every single person likes a popular song, and a station that literally plays only 3 songs would do terribly in the ratings, and a station that played one song over and over would do even worse.

WNCI obviously doesn't have that problem. They play the same songs quite often, especially Kevin Rudolf, lol. The song separation on that station and most CC stations is ridiculous.
