WNYC Announces New Hosts For Morning Edition and All Things Considered

New York Public Radio’s 93.9 WNYC-FM/820 WNYC New York has announced new local anchors for Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

Michael Hill will join the station as Morning Edition anchor. Hill joins WNYC from WNJM/WNJB-TV where he has served as an anchor and correspondent since 2014. He also is a fill-in anchor for PBS Newshour Weekend and host of Newark Today on Jazz 88.3 WBGO Newark NJ. Hill will take the position on WNYC that had been held by Richard Hake until his death last April.

Michael Hill and Sean Carlson will join WNYC Radio.

An excellent choice. Michael Hill was a superior substitute when he anchored PBS NewsHour Weekend. (I much preferred Mr. Hill's maturity to the callowness of the regular anchor.)

To clarify, this says "local anchors". Does this mean people like Steve Inskeep that we hear nationally on Morning Edition are still in place?
