They really don't get into Panama City at all unless the wind is right...so they won't be a player here.

I actually received this station very clearly for a while yesterday morning, on car radio in Live Oak FL.
Wiped out Lake City's WCJX completely for about an hour!

Was it foggy at the time or cooler weather (alittle chilly) in the morining for those radio stations pop up from far away?

It was both that morning, but the sun broke through quickly. Most times around here, the farther away stations come in right before a cold front sweeps through.

Too bad this doesn't have much of a signal here in Tallahassee. I think another CHR would do very well here with the very large transient student population. With WWLD's evolution from Rhythmic/CHR to Urban Contemporary over the last couple of years, there is room for this format (i.e., Rhythmic CHR) in Seminole land. I wonder if it is possible to upgrade and/or move the tower closer in the future?

Besides Mexico Beach and St. George Island, Wakulla County should be able to pull this in pretty clear. Wakulla had something like a 38% growth in population this last decade (although, take it with a grain of salt, the population remains < 50,000).

I do not live in the area, but I love to visit Apalachicola. Nice quiet area & scenery. Hope to go back in June.

For anybody who has been there recently, does the Rancho Inn still have that giant antenna? Tempting....

Your pertty much right if u live south of Tallahassee like the big bend area u will get it loud and clear in Gulf,Franklin,Wakulla Counties. But some areas in Tallahassee will get it here and there but if u live north of Tallahassee like I-10 area to Thomasville not a drop to hear it. they have a website if u like to listren live online would be nice. :) http://www.hitz106fm.com/
