WOFL-TV FOX 35 is an absolute disgrace of a TV station

I cannot believe how bad WOFL is as a FOX O&O. The station just screams "CHEAP" all the way around. Their anchors are second-rate at best. The engineering of the station looks and sound like it's run by amateurs, and the fact that they don't even have a noon newscast in this day and age is just inconceivable. Whenever we try to watch 35, we end up with a headache as their audio pumping and anchor-shouting wears you down. Doesn't anyone in engineering hear how bad they sound on their newscasts? Does management demand that kind of sound? What are they, deaf? The anchors all scream at the top of their lungs, just making it all worse - and they talk all over each other when they attempt "banter".

We live halfway between Tampa and Orlando and when the atmosphere is right, we like WTVT-TV FOX 13 in Tampa. It's head and shoulders above what 35 is. The FOX 13 anchors are professionals - even with changes over the years, and their presentation looks and sounds like the top-market station that it is. The sound on 13 is top-notch - the anchors don't shout - and the audio processing is well under control.

We'd stick with 13, if it came in as well as 35.

A few months ago I sent 35 an email on their "Contact Us" link, but of course never heard anything back. They're not even courteous enough to send a form reply. I don't work at 35, but I would be embarrassed to tell anyone that I did. What a disgrace they are.
 
I interviewed there in the 80's back when they were located on the OBT. If you had said this back then, I would say its because they are all hanging out at the bars and strip joints on the OBT. So, even though they've moved, nothing has changed.
