WOMG 98.5 FM flips to country as NASH-FM in Columbia

It's a shame to see Magic go in favor of even more cookie cutter radio. IMO, Cumulus should have gone country on 106.7 to best compete with WCOS...and move B to 98.5. How much longer does 94.3 have?

Does Columbia, SC still have an Oldies station?

Columbia doesn't have a Mainstream AC (dying format, really, in many markets) or Classic Hits station anymore. Steve FM can serve audiences of both stations, I guess, but could 94.3 do something else since they're now in a 3-way battle? Mainstream AC? Classic Hits? That signal shouldn't even try to be competitive, really.
