They might want to bolt down their equipment. I'm curious if anything came up missing yesterday after his interview with Dave and Jimmy.

I think you meant "accepted".![]()

Can we list all the stations he worked for?
Here's what seems like a list of the stations I've seen so far:
WJZA/107.5
WVKO/1580 (in urban/soul format)
The currently named WVKO-FM/103.1 (is this the "Z" he mentions, or is 107.5, or both? I forget the "Z" calls for 103.1, WSMZ?)
WJMO/1490 (Cleveland market, licensed to Cleveland Heights)
Ted Williams, the homeless man whose video on the Columbus Dispatch has gone viral and is being showcased on all the major TV networks, worked at a Columbus station in the early 80s. The homeless man with the golden radio voice was hired at Josephson’s WVKO-AM by program director K.C. Jones and station manager Harry Lyles to do middays.
Williams replaced Ike Murray, who was heading to Detroit. At that time, the GM was Steve Joos; the late Kirk Bishop did afternoons and Ohio State student Rob Morris (currently KDWB PD) landed his first radio gig working part-time at WVKO.
Artie,
Yes. I worked with Ted at WVKO in Columbus, OH in the 80s.
So, yes, I do know him.

I wonder how the people who he's ripped off for the last 20 years feel about this guy?

Half the people in radio have a rap sheet. Who are you the Lilly White Virgin of the airwaves?

this can/should be applied.

"He was most recently arrested on May 14. He pleaded guilty to a first-degree misdemeanor theft charge. In court records, his address is listed as "Streets of Columbus."
Then he goes on the Today show all jittery and says that he used to steal to support his drug habit. That's inconsistent with what he's claimed. Bottom line, I don't trust him.
