The Series starts this Friday at 7:25 pm on WLVL 1340 am.World Series Your Home for NY YANKEES RADIO
I think you would be surprise where you can hear 1340 am.Drive around a bit and find out for your selfJudging from their signal range, not many people in the Buffalo area will be able to hear it.
AM/FM radio is pretty useless when it comes to major sporting events that don't involve local teams. SXM is absolutely the way to go.
I think I have the right page? New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers | Oct 25, 2024 | MLB | TSN CanadaYou might also try 1050 CHUM out of Toronto. They'll be carrying it as part of the TSN network.
Unfortunately, they'll probably air the ESPN Radio feed instead of the Yankee radio network feed as the home broadcasts will only air on the flagship stations as well as on SiriusXM & the MLB app.The Series starts this Friday at 7:25 pm on WLVL 1340 am.World Series Your Home for NY YANKEES RADIO
Yes. Only the flagship station gets the home call.Is WFAN running the Yankees feed or not?
ThanksYes. Only the flagship station gets the home call.
Nobody's arguing otherwise. Just that the home call with Sterling and Waldman is exclusive to WFAN, unless the rights situation has changed since last I knew.WLVL is running The World Series. Some people think they know it all.
The Yankees might not have had many applicants, or the money they were offering the replacement might not have been enough to make someone take the job.How nice of John Sterling to unretire and screw the young play-by-play broadcasters who called the regular season contests out of an opportunity to call an extended postseason run.
I listened to some of Sterling's broadcast during game 4 of the ALCS on SXM's Yankees channel. It wasn't very good.
Depends who's doing the call on each broadcast. If the game is on "free TV", unless you are at work, driving somewhere, or sight impaired why would you listen to the radio or satellite radio play by play?
The least he could do was share the mic and only call certain games or certain innings of games.
The Yankees might not have had many applicants, or the money they were offering the replacement might not have been enough to make someone take the job.
"Lucy--Eeee. You got some splaining to do".Rickie Ricardo is calling the World Series for the Spanish broadcast on WADO.
