Depends who's doing the call on each broadcast.
If you're a passionate fan of a team, it's fun to listen to your home announcers who've been there all the way through and know the team inside and out, instead of the more generic national call.
If it had been the Mets in the series, I would absolutely have preferred to hear Howie Rose on 880 instead of the network TV call.
And as a lifelong Red Sox fan, when I think back on 2004, the voice I hear calling the Series win will always be Joe Castiglione on WEEI and his "Can you believe it?!?"
Any time that clip shows up now, I guarantee you you're most likely to hear Castiglione's radio call as the audio, not Joe Buck on Fox TV.
If the Yankees win this year, it'll be the same way with whatever over-the-top call Sterling ends up delivering as his finale... and you bet I'll be listening on 660 to hear it.
I will admit I don't watch or listen to Baseball unless the is the compelling reason of an entertaining annoucer (Harry Carrey RIP etc) which can make it not like watching paint dry repeating endless stats. I do enjoy Baseball games at all levels in person. The game seems to move faster in person.
