I don't care what the lyrics are. The song is pure rock. And way too loud.
Loved his first...... Hicktown.

Hahaha yes I know.It might sound like I'm condemning all the new stuff, I like some of it,but I prefer classic country from the old days of Hank Williams to about the late 1980's. I even like KLF's The Justified Ancient with Tammy Wynnette.Again it must be my age.

On one of the awards shows she was "playing" a banjo, so I watched. I actualy liked it.ceejay said:OMHO.....worst is "Mean". Or just about anything else by Taylor Swift.

vchimpanzee said:"My Kinda Party". Once again, Jason Aldean.
Why would I go within a mile of that garbage?TheBigA said:vchimpanzee said:"My Kinda Party". Once again, Jason Aldean.
If you went to one of his shows, and saw how the audience loves him, you'd understand why he gets airplay. And that won't change.

I have no desire to understand his presence. All I want to do is avoid him. If I get lucky, a country FM station will actually be playing good music when I choose to sample it. This doesn't generally happen.TheBigA said:vchimpanzee said:Why would I go within a mile of that garbage?TheBigA said:vchimpanzee said:"My Kinda Party". Once again, Jason Aldean.

Radio's job is to attract large numbers of listeners. If large numbers of listeners want to hear cow farts, that's what radio will play, regardless of whether or not it's good music. You want to hear what you consider good music? Buy it and listen to it on your own device.

Casey said:Radio is arguably at an all time low for playing what people want to hear, especially in the country genre.
Casey said:No one likes the extremely selective playlists.
