Would it be possible to have a thread on music broadcast over the airwaves & song writers, artists, arrangers?

We could talk about genres of music as formats for radio stations. Because many radio stations play music as part of their format, it would seem to be pertinent to topics about broadcasting. There could be a disclaimer at the topic that the thread contains subjective opinions.

That way, radio students or people doing media research would not accidentally mistake it for historical facts. Or, we could each mark our messages "JMO" -- just my opinion. I don't want to see anyone get banned from here, just by expressing an opinion about a song on the radio. Musical tastes are very subjective. Having an opinion about a song is much different from deliberately posting misinformation about a historical fact. I almost always mark my messages, "just my opinion". If I accidentally forgot to mark any message I wrote "just my opinion", then I do apologize.

Or....... we don't have to do this at all. Perhaps the moderators think that this topic is not germane to the intent of this site, and that's perfectly fine also. I was just thinking of this, because there was a thread about Christmas music. JMO. ( just my opinion).
 
A board like you suggest is far too generic. It would be a catch-all for nearly every subject related to music.
