Would Philly Need a New 90's Adult Top 40 Radio Station on 100.3 or 103.9?

Hmmm....Thats a good question. Why you may ask. Its the talk of 20/30 Year olds in sub philly markets. A cross blend on Radio104.5, Q102, and B101. Popular music from 1989-2009. We could use names such as Sonic103, JAG103, NYE103, Dude103, or here is a crazy one....."It's Music From Your Garage, The New GARAG1039(British Acent). What do we think and how do you think it would work? I am working on a new format to set up in the next coming years so I wanted to give philly radio a chance.

or how about 103.9 'DRE?
or Y-100?

or Magic 103?

Sorry, I was intending sarcasm :)
I think with all the Hip-hop (which is mostly garbage, IMHO), and the AC overload, there is room for another format in Philadelphia.

Its the talk of 20 & 30 year olds in suburban philly?! where is this wonderful place where people sit around and talk about radio and formats?! please tell me so I can leave this god forsaken messageboard and have conversation with living breathing humans about subject matter I love so much. where is this nirvana, this modern day xanadu that you speak of? please i beg of you...take me there!!!

What Philly needs (like most major cities in the US) is investment in education and infrastructure, among other things.
Radio station formats are not "needs."

Who Care's ( This is a radio board AKA radio Needs )!

They can put it on 103.9 but Radio One better not mess with 100.3 The Beat. This is the best rap station ever and they better not mess with it. There is no way I am listing to Wired 96.5 or Power 99 (They Suck)!
