WOw! Star and Buc Wild have been let go by 100.3 The Beat

Maybe, 97.9 The Box Houston still has Madd Hatta, Power 107.5 Columbus has a local morning show too. Philly is a large market, they might see who else they can get. I personally prefered Charlamagne over Star & Buc Wild. Now his morning show on Power 105, not really a huge fan, his cohosts get on my nerves...especially the other dude on there & u can tell he's toned it down a bit.

That's surprising, considering that they were a top morning show in NYC. I could understand Pulse 87 letting them go since they're more fit for urban than for dance.

If any of you knew the Operations Manager, Elroy Smith - you wouldn't even attempt to have this conversation. From the moment I heard that Star & Buc were hired - I knew it wouldn't last long.

Please, tell us about Elroy, and why Charlemagne and Star & Buc Wild didn't last. Except for his love for R Kelly, I don't know much about Mr. Smith...

Yes, Elroy Smith's love for R.Kelly is legendary. Some say he used Chicago's largest Urban station WGCI as his own personal "save R.Kelly's career" machine. Elroy was the FIRST in the country to play Kelly's sanctimonious hit "Heaven I Need A Hug" which debuted not long after the infamous pee pee video hit the net. The irony here is Elroy is supposedly a big time "Jesus freak". Somehow he never saw a conflict between his love for the Lord and his support of an "alleged pedophile". Perhaps he worshipped at Pator Eddie Longs church?

Not sure if Elroy was the reason for Srts departure. Quite fankl, I'd be surprised to find he had anything to do with bringing him on in the first place!

More likely that Star's ratings neve justified his hefty paycheck. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rickey Smiley come on. Everyone knows You can get his show for next to nothing, which is far more than I is worth!
