Kind of side issue here, but regarding WCHC in Worcester I could never understand their licensing. There antenna is on top of the Hogan Campus Center which is one of the higher spots in Worcester,

The FCC's HAAT program also comes up with the same height when inputted. Here is the terrain data put out using 8° radials.

0.0° -6.5 meters
45.0° 45.2 meters
90.0° 61.2 meters
135.0° 63.5 meters
180.0° -13.9 meters
225.0° -3.5 meters
270.0° -61.2 meters
315.0° -93.6 meters

In my opinion, Touch 106.1 and Hot 87 are the only two pirates in Boston who do not sound overmodulated and fit in with the legitimate stations on the dial, because they are "legal wannabes". "WPOT" actually sounded quieter and a little weaker audio wise, than WJMN.

Not really related, but has WWXK done any work to their signal, theve totally been overpowering Frank FM lately, especially last weekend, you could barely get any Frank!

touch needs to improve their signal or antenna. theyre much weaker than anything except the perenially weak 100.3/102.1/107.1

they all sound fine, imo. since they all play overcompressed crap to begin with, who's to say who has dynamic range?

THey seem to be making money why not more power AND an antenna increase.
