WPOZ Only Orlando Station Nominated For '11 Marconi Award

Out of 21 categories, Z88.3 is the only Orlando station so honored with a nomination as Religious Station of the Year. Awards will be made the the NAB/RAB Radio show, Sept. 14-16 in Chicago.

Kudos!

I never actually stopped to listen to Z88.3 until now.
They're actually VERY good, aside from the sappy music.
I like how there's 2 hosts in the rush hour.
Congrats to them!

Z88.3 is definitely a life-style format (a la country)...but the imaging is great..the message is needed by a large audience and the execution is terrific and the audience is extremely loyal.

Thanks for the kind words. It is very humbling to be a part of such a great team of people. :)

WPOZ is richly deserving of a Marconi award. I live over in Brevard, and it is amazing to see how many bumper stickers for Z-88.3 are on cars in
this area. I've talked with other long time broadcasters, and we all agree, WPOZ does things right, the way we used to do them before corporate
radio. One can only guess how many people have been helped, how many lives have been put on the right road by what young DJ Mo calls sappy
music. At the core of Z-88.3 in my opinion is a devotion to the music, the wonderful Contemporary Christian music that is all uplifting and alway
safe for the little years...Good Job everyone at Z-88.3
