wpvi audio on 87.7 mhz on the f.m. dial - i have an opinion \ question

since analog t v signals will be cut off on february 17th , 2009 , i say that i will no longer be able to hear channel 6 action news on my car radio on my way home from work , as that 87.7 will be cut off .... am i correct or incorrect ?

My roommate and I were in our college dorm room at Kutztown the night of December 8, 1980 listening to "Monday Night Football" on WPVI at 87.7 (our room lacked a telly) FM when we heard Howard Cosell read the bulletin that John Lennon had been murdered.
