Noticed this evening that WQOK has their HD signal operational now. They're still IDing as WQOK, South Boston, but must be on the WFXC tower in Durham now.
Similar to the other Radio One outlets, there's no additional sub-channels.
I got a friend who's still at home in Charlotte Co., VA to check and the signal's gone. 97.5 used to be probably the strongest signal on the radio. Now, zip.
yep..they are in fact broadcasting in HD...while traveling through raleigh today the HD wouldn't even decode for more than a few sec until i got into knightdale.. no song info just like the rest of the radio one cluster..none of them running HD2's either....the radio displayed "BRIAN DAWSON/WQOK FM/RADIO ONE RALEIGH"
