WQXQ 101.9 - Evansville, IN/Owensboro, KY/Central City, KY

Did WQXQ change formats? I heard no commercials and all mid-80s stuff this afternoon. Not even a station id between songs, except for "WQXQ" at the top of the hour... Thoughts...

I don't know, but many people say it is a horrible station. I'd have to agree, when I was there in Indiana in April, I heard it and the Jones format they ran just sounded terrible. Seemed like either the Goo Goo Dolls Give A Little Bit or Jesse Mcartney's Beautiful Soul were the big powers and I never understood what the hell Jesse was doing on a damn Hot AC station but enough about that. The guy should just sell the damn thing to either Regent or South Central, I'd make a bet that a "corporation" would put better programming on 101.9.<P ID="signature">______________
