In a slight surprise, Wrentham's Ayla Brown was voted-off from "American Idol 5" tonight (March 9th), just missing-out on the chance to be one of the "Top 12" group of finalists. Of the eight remaining gals on the show, six advanced to the "Top 12". Brown received the second-fewest number of votes, just missing the chance to be a finalist.
Maybe Lt. Governor Kerry Healey should have waited a few more days before naming a running-mate. With his daughter now out of "Idol", State Senator Scott Brown could have become Healey's running-mate.
The twelve finalists of "Idol 5" won't have to worry about Ayla Brown, but starting in November, the other women's basketball teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference will have to worry about her: Brown has a full basektball scholarship to Boston College and is one of the country's top women's basketball prospects.
