this has been a rough 48 hours for Pro Wrestling and it started yesterday with the passing of a wrestling legend as Terry Funk passed away yesterday at the age of 79 years old, he was one of the toughest wrestlers to every wrestled, he wrestled in between 1965 to 2017. he was diagnosed with dementia, which was revealed in 2021. he was a legend that wrestled for WWE, ECW, WCW/NWA, TNA/Impact Wrestling, and All Japan Pro Wrestling.

In another life a long long time ago and a galaxy far away, Terry Funk was one of the wrestlers I regularly worked with for several years when my station in Amarillo produced a weekly syndicated wrestling show. Terry and his brother Dory Jr. were popular stars back in their younger years. Tough guy in the ring but really nice person behind the scenes with a great sense of humor. R.I.P.
