WRGB CBS6/SCHDY KEN SCREVEN/ STEVE FLAMISCH

It would appear that reporter Steve Flamisch has left WRGB CBS6. His profile is gone from the website. Any one know where might have gone. Also among the missing is reporter Ken Screven. I understand he has not been seen on the air in a while. A couple of years ago he was out for an extended length of time due to health problems. Has he had a re-occurance? If he is not already, sometime this year he will be 62. Might he be retiring given his health situation? Any one know?

Couldn't find anything about Flamisch's present whereabouts on Google, but the search did turn up links to a few YouTube videos with resume-tape-like titles (like "Steve Flamisch: Investigative Reporting PKG" or "Steve Flamisch: Live-Wrapped PKG"), which were all posted on January 19... so it's pretty clear he was looking for a chance to jump ship.

Surprisingly, Google found nothing at all about him exiting WRGB, let alone anything about him joining any other station. You'd think one of the sites covering TV insider news would have filed a report which would have turned up on Google.

WRGB has just aired a piece about Ken Screven retiring. It was a compilation of reports he has done over the 33 years he was at WRGB. No interviews with him about his retirement. He has not appeared on the air in some time. It would seem that health issues may have re-occurred or a new one has come along.
