WRKO and WTKK DROP OUT OF PRESIDENT'S PRESS CONFERENCE TO TALK ABOUT ??

A

Graham "Crackers" and Todd "I am not Jewish" Feinburg dropped out of this morning's Presidential Press Conference about 10 minutes into it and in the middle of an important question. Why? Their egos are so big that they don't want to be preempted by the President of The United States? Makes sense? Open the phone lines so "Crackers" and "I am not Jewish" [ his words not mine] Feinburg can pontificate about something they have not heard. Well, that is a big surprise, not

[EDIT]

Since you have brought it up, what DID they talk about after the press conference was taken off the air?

[EDIT-inflammatory]

They figure you can always tune to WBUR or WBZ if you want more of the speech. (And speaking of a lack
of news coverage esp. local, I don't think WTKK does any local newscasts, even pre-recorded headlines,
after 7 pm...)

Feinburg has said before that people automatically assume he's Jewish due to his last name. You wonder
why the likes of Larry Ziger and Gerald Jacoby changed their last names on air; it's sad to think that
the future Larry King or Jerry Williams felt that Jewish-sounding last names might keep them from
getting a job back then.

Actually I did listen to the press conference on WBUR, and even THEY dropped out at the 50-minute mark with a few quick comments on the press conference so far. No doubt they wanted to meet the NPR news @ :01.
